The cryptocurrency wallet designed to bridge the gap between complex blockchain technology and a seamless user experience. With a focus on security, usability, and accessibility, this project aims to redefine how users interact with their digital assets.
Crypto Wallet: Simplifying Web3 Transactions
Introduction

In this project, I tackled the challenges of designing a user-friendly cryptocurrency wallet.

The primary goals included:
  • Enhancing the onboarding experience for new users.
  • Improving transaction transparency and security.
  • Streamlining navigation for efficient management of assets.
  • Designing a clean, customizable interface that resonates with both beginners and experienced users.

Tools: Figma, FigJam, Adobe Photoshop
Role: UX/UI Designer
Overview

The majority of cryptocurrency wallets suffer from:

• Overwhelming complexity for non-technical users.
• Lack of clear security measures to prevent errors and fraud.
• Poor integration with dApps.
• Minimal educational support for first-time users.

This project aims to address these issues with an intuitive design that prioritizes simplicity, security, and education.
Problem

Key Features
Discover the key functionalities that make this cryptocurrency wallet stand out.
Intuitive
Onboarding
Effortlessly create an account and start managing your crypto with a simple, guided setup process.
Secure dApp Integration
Access and interact with a wide range of decentralized applications (dApps) directly within the wallet, expanding your crypto possibilities.
Transaction Transparency
Gain complete visibility into your transactions with clear, real-time updates and detailed transaction history.

To create an effective solution, I conducted extensive research, including:
  • User Interviews: Conversations with both novice and experienced crypto users revealed pain points such as difficulty understanding fees and confusion over wallet setup.
  • Competitive Analysis: Examined existing wallets to identify opportunities for improvement in usability and aesthetics.
  • Usability Testing: Prototype tests highlighted areas where users needed clearer guidance and better feedback.

Research

The design process included the following stages:

Wireframing: Created low-fidelity wireframes to outline core user flows and functionality.

Prototyping: Built high-fidelity prototypes to test the look and feel of the wallet.

User Testing: Conducted usability tests to gather feedback and refine the design.
Process

The final design addresses the core pain points identified during research:

• Improved security features reduced errors in transaction confirmation tests.
• The dashboard received praise for its clarity and ease of navigation.

If I were to iterate further, I’d focus on expanding accessibility features and adding support for multi-language interfaces.
Result

This project showcases my ability to solve complex usability challenges while maintaining a visually appealing design. By combining user research with iterative design practices, I created a product that balances functionality, security, and simplicity.
